Bishop's Stortford's newest secondary school is a hive of activity this week, getting ready to welcome the first students in September.
While other campuses across the town are silent, with students and staff enjoying the summer holidays, it is all systems go at Avanti Grange.
Contractors are working hard to complete classrooms. A computer suite is being completed and a science laboratory brought up to specification under the watchful eye of head Rhys Jones.
The new secondary is part of the growing Avanti Schools Trust. It has more than 4,500 students and 600 members of staff across 12 schools in London, Leicester, Bristol, Exeter and Somerset.
